Wireless LAN 101
Computer-Based Training (CBT)

This 802.11a/b/g presentation is an introductory overview of the IEEE ratified WLAN standards currently in wireless LANs today. There are a multitude of discussion topics in the WLAN architecture that can be explored. But the chosen topics listed; Introduction to WLAN, radio technology, antenna concepts, WLAN topologies, and security and management, are foundational to learning and understanding 802.11 technology. You will also see how other IEEE standards play an integral part in the WLAN implementations of today's infrastructure, both wired and wireless.
