Computer-Based Training (CBT)

This course covers the basics of Telephony. We'll introduce various numbering plans including the North American Numbering Plan, or NANP, and the International Numbering Plan, or INP. After discussing these numbering schemes, we'll talk about the actual dialing methods. This will include an explanation of pulse dialing and DTMF dialing. We will introduce the two main types of customer voice systems including private branch exchanges, or PBXs, and key systems. In conclusion we will take a few minutes to discuss the role of an Integrated Access Device (IAD) in voice only applications.
