ATSP/Internetworking - is the professional level certification for technical staff that will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting solutions using ADTRAN Internetworking products (routers, switches, switch-routers, and VPN/Firewall appliances). This training assumes that the student has successfully completed ATSA/Internetworking and mastered the concepts covered in that curriculum.
To achieve
ATSP/Internetworking one must participate in an in-depth training course and
pass the ATSP/Internetworking exam. The training is offered via three
methods: Instructor-led (ILT); live, Virtual Instructor-led (VILT); or a
Self-Study Kit. The ILT course requires that the student to attend a
four-day class entitled "NetVanta PowerPak" that teaches hands-on sills for
installing, supporting, and troubleshooting the NetVanta Internetworking
solutions. The VILT
is a live, web-based
version of our 4-day classroom course; offered as a two week course with
four instructor-led sessions. Each lecture session is three hours, and
students are provided access to ADTRAN equipment via our remote lab. The
Self-Study Kit provides a comprehensive manual covering all the material
presented in the instructor0led training course, and allows the student to
study at his/her own pace.
